This is a family-owned business, with a rich 80-year history that offers a fast, fun and friendly work environment. Presently they are seeking CDL-A Company Drivers out of Beech Grove, IN. Overview
Drivers transport bulk liquid hazardous chemicals or containers of chlorine to municipalities and general industrial facilities via tanker or flatbed. Dedicated customer base. Load/unload tankers via hose and pump. Secure flatbeds using binders and chains. Drivers average 1-5 stops per load, 1-3 loads per shift. Schedule is Monday thru Friday w/ rare weekends. Day shift, average 5:00-7:00 a.m. start but may start outside this range. Drivers average 9-10 hours per shift. Paid training.
Compensation
$19.00 per hour to start
$20.00 per hour after 60-day probationary period
$50,000-55,000 per year average
