Director Clinical Applications

 Bachelor's Required WHAT WE NEED Clinical Applications Leader WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We make extensive use of our clinical applications throughout our healthcare system. That kind of scope requires experienced leaders who can devise and develop the Clinical Applications strategy and framework for Franciscan. We have a job waiting for someone like you.  WHAT YOU WILL DO Collaborate with key executive and business stakeholders to assess, develop and maintain the clinical applications portfolio and related application roadmaps. Build in-depth knowledge of the business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues and competitive marketplace to develop and deliver value added business solutions that have a measurable impact on results. Direct and oversee the Clinical Applications coworkers, and outside consultants as needed in the planning, development, and on-going maintenance of the clinical applications. Create and execute a roadmap for deliverables based on requirements, projects, and support functions. Collaborate with leaders across IT departments and business operations to prioritize IT changes and projects.  Manage the relationships with HER and other clinical application vendor. Responsible for complex vendor negotiations and defining clear SOWs and advantageous contract terms. Act as a business relationship manager among stakeholders to provide project definition, process leadership, timeframe, cost, delivery, issue resolution, risk mitigation and status communication. Oversee internal and external systems/application/process development projects, as assigned, from inception through successful implementation. Oversee and assist with the definition of business requirements (Business Process Mapping, benefit analysis, etc.) and IT solutions. Responsible for clinical system adoption and results. Handle and oversee administrative matters concerning Clinical Applications operations and functions including preparing and submitting the department budget for approval, planning and forecasting activities, identifying department goals and key measurements, and developing internal controls for major department initiatives. Monitor and control budget performance and take action to implement cost saving strategies. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED Progressive experience leading implementations and support of industry standard systems (i.e. EMR/EHR). Experience leading EHR applications teams in an integrated healthcare environment. Operational experience in clinical settings and experience implementing and supporting Epic. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Excellent decision-making skills. Adapt to complex business environments and situations. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
